[Naturally a bit forward-dating /kicks off event

Hi Luceti? You know how it's morning right now? Maybe like... five in the morning, tops, right now? Well, unfortunately, you sleep is going to be rudely interrupted by a loud and surprisingly deep CAAAAAAWWW coming from House 10. It echoes across a pretty wide area of the village, given it's size. Albeit probably mostly for people on the North end.

One such person awakened by this cry is Haruki Suzumiya, who immediately goes upstairs to find his beloved pet, Sekai (who is now a full-grown rooster and due to his breed the size of a small turkey after being alive a whole year) and then lead him outside. Because he's half-sleep, he doesn't realize what he's wearing... at first. But then, when he walks out the door he is wearing nothing so much as (badly made) stereotypical God costume (think this) complete with a fake beard.

It's also at this point that he notices that the town looks a little different than before. Looking down at Sekai, he sighs, goes back in and gets his journal, ahd flips it open before settling on the porch with his chicken.]

[Voice]

The Organization strikes for Halloween... again. [And following this, he starts to hum the first song that comes to mind; namely "This is Halloween"]

[Voice]

[Okay so he knows something went down was he was gone and he knows that the operation has concluded (because this is after the teams get back and such)... and he got back the other day. He was laying low for a while, but he figures he should speak up now. After all-]

Oi! Everyone! I'm back!

[He nods to himself, that's good. And then, despite thing trailing off a little in the last few days of his trip he did enjoy it on the whole and now he's refreshed so...]

...How's everyone else doing?

[...Okay that was REALLY hard for him to say. He's just going to shut up now and see how people respond. He doesn't even mention things about Brigade meetings because, well, that should go without saying. He does, however, almost as an afterthought tack on-]

Oi, I'm out- taking that break I said was gunna take. You better still be showing up for meetings! Remember, Usagi's in charge while I'm away and Taichi's her second! You better still be making progress on our goals!

[...This is the one he's dreading the most.] Professors I'm... gunna take a while off school. [He's been gone since the start of the teleporting event anyway but] Just to give you guys a heads-up.

[For Shiki and Neku I'm assuming he left a note or something when he left earlier in the weekend but it probably just said that he wasn't going to be back for a while, but now he's going to make a more clarified heads-up] Oi, I think I'll be gone longer than I thought. [...] Don't ransack my room.

[For the record, this is the start of something of a character hiatus for Haruki. He's out on a trip with Winry for now and thus I'm going to not tag around with him for a while.]

[SO HOUSEMATES (Neku and Shiki, basically) might have noticed there is a new addition to the house. Namely there is a large-ish TV with a DVD player and a speaker or two in the main room. There is also a large-ish collection of Disney DVDs there. This means-]

Oi! Winry! C'mon over to my place today.

[...Hm. Something he's been wondering about lately comes to mind as soon as he finishes with that decidedly leading message which he may or may not get grief for being public. He drums his fingers before pressing with:]

...Y'know, without Rohan printing his manga here - or that paper from a long while back - there hasn't been much in the way of creativity from people in a written format. [He seems to recall someone else said something similar a few weeks ago. ...Oh well] Maybe the Brigade should hold some kinda contest for that... [...HMM.] Or I could- nah. Last time... [He gets a flashback to Senel punching him. This makes him shudder and then give up on that idea]

Well, whatever. Maybe a contest later on.

[Before anything else, Haruki puts up a rather paranoid filter on the whole entry. One he works very had at creating because, well... he's got his reasons, really. The end result is that:]

...Alright, first things first As many of you probably know, Luceti's own number one idol, Miichan of the SOS-Brigade is having a birthday party tomorrow! SOS-Brigade, you're required to attend! Blue Rogues, you guys ought to come too! For that matter, so should everyone else! I've taken the liberty of setting everything up so all you need is presents! After all, this is a girl's fourteenth birthday; set it up to be something awesome, alright?!

It'll be tomorrow, behind the Brigade building. I expect a good turnout, is that understood?!

[He sighs there and shakes his head. Alright, good enough. But then, considering something... he's got something else he kinda wnts to gloat about but isn't sure if he should... and maybe he's obligated to tell some other people. Anyone listening to this might notice him humming, of all things this song during this pause.]

...Y'know. [Should he say it? He laughs and then cuts off] Nah, nevermind.

But he should say something to a few people. He feels obligated to after that bit with Luka. ...Sokka? No, Winry will tell him, right? But he wants to tell him anyway. He needs to tell Shiki though. And Keiichi because he'll freak out. ...And Guy? Maybe Guy. Dammit this whole having friends thing is complicated. In the end, however-]

Oi! Guys! I've got something to tell you guys. [...But then as soon as he makes this entry he might lose his nerve? Oh well]

[First things first, at the top of this entry is a drawn approximation of a symbol that a lot of people will have probably seen in on the sign of the HQ in town.]


For those of you new or not aware, somehow, this is the symbol for the illustrious SOS-Brigade, a club dedicated to finding the mysteries of this world as well as ensuring that people within it lead a worthwhile existence. We're even in the guide, so at least try to show some braincells about it! We're going to be accepting new applicants now, so show up if you're interested.

[Yes, he knows that's weak as opposed to usual but... well, he doesn't care right now]

Same for clients! If you have a mystery, have had a mystery before, or think you will in the future, come to us and we'll work it out.

[And then, last but not least, Haruki's got some things to attend to regardless of if people answer or not. Sure he'll be hanging around the club-room most of the day, but he's also going to be hitting up... wherever Winry is to try to find her. He's kinda not really talked with her much since... then. He figures he ought to try. He didn't see a point giving her a heads-up on the journal either. So he will be around town but mostly for the search.]

[Well, Luceti. We have come to the twenty first and as such on this last day of AUs, someone who had been avoiding them for the whole time is now taken by then... albeit they don't know it, as per everyone else. That is to say...

Haruhi Suzumiya is all up in your business.

She's wondering why none of her clothes seem to fit her, but it's nothing she can't handle! Thus, in the morning you might see her in baggy clothing (fit for Haruki) until she busts open All Passions and robs out a nice top and shorts and stuff and then sets off for her usual rounds. Seventh Heaven, of course the Brigade room. The plaza... you know, the usual. One might run into her at any of those places or, later on when she finally gives up on anything being interesting today-]

[Voice]

Uuugh, who would have thought everyone going nuts would be so boring. [Of course the voice is now Aya Hirano WENDEE LEE which is better?? feminine and not at all like Haruki's. But the tone is the same, at least.

And yeah, this AU is... extremely self-evident but here just for you on the last day of the event! All memories of Luceti are almost exactly the same too so have fun with her and such. I figured I had to make this happen for a while at least. Voice or action or both go for it.]

[Well, as some of you might recall, Haruki Suzumiya has been MIA for the better part of this whole affair so far. But now, finally, he's made a full recovery. A full recovery and... he's gone back to his house to confirm that things have recovered. He's inspecting it inside and out so you might happen across him during that, particularly if you're Neku or Shiki.

But aside from that, after he's half-way through this inspection he flips open the journal and-]

Oi, guys, I'm back. [...It's useless to say "did he miss anything" right? Just glancing at the entries while he was out shows he did] So everyone report in.

[Because we wants to make sure everyone's okay]

[Action]

[July 31st. Haruki Suzumiya turns eighteen today. Originally, he hadn't planned to do anything - after all, only a handful of people know: Shiki, probably Neku by extension, Usagi, Leon, probably Al, maybe Uriko if she remembers, some others. Oh and he told Winry. Point is he originally decided he wasn't going to make a big deal about it what with all that's been going on. Not to mention a full third of his Brigade gone.

But well, he could use a pick up. And other people probably need things to focus on, so today he rigged up something at Brigade HQ. As it's Saturday and the status of the Seventh Heaven isn't officially confirmed there's no meeting or lunch today, but outside the HQ is a sign that says-

"CHIEF OF THE SOS-BRIGADE'S EIGHTEENTH BIRTHDAY. COME IN FOR GIFT DEPOSIT AND WELL-WISHING"

And inside they'll find Haruki sitting in his chair with Sekai on the table next to him and him with his headband tied in the gayest way ever.

Of course this might not be the only way to do this so later in the day, once he's confident the fighting for the day will have ended-]

[Voice]

How're you guys doing out there? Usagi, Leon, Uriko, Vash, all you guys.

[Voice]

[It's been more than long enough. Haruki, without so much a sigh and trying to keep his voice flat as possible takes up the mantle of saying something he hoped he wouldn't have to say ever during his time here. Namely:]

Usagi, you've got a promotion. You're Vice-Chief now. [READ: Rena is no longer here. He's trying to keep the anger and hurt out of his voice... he's doing an okay job] Taichi, you're Deputy Vice-Chief now.

[And then he trails off before, well, he should clear up two more things, right? Well then, let's get the first one out of the way]

Keiichi, Naoki, Alphonse, Vash, [...He can't go with Mikage so-] Uriko. All of you guys report in, I've got special objectives for you. Leon, I figured out where to put the teleporter.

[But all that is specific to the SOS-Brigade, he's got something more public in mind, even if none of that was filtered. But before that...]

[A clearing of his thought before] Oi! Oi! Anyone who is listening to this, tell me about the sorts of foods you made back home, particularly the ones that you can't make as easily here and as a result you miss! I'm looking for variety, variety, so preferably people not from some boring place like Earth ought to answer this! Or if you're from Earth, at least be from a different century than the 21st!

[Voice]

Attention! To those it may concern, you should know that Tanabata is rapidly approaching us! [...The summer really came on him quick. His birthday is too, though only a handful of people will know that his 18th birthday will be on July 31st. He grunts and decides not to dwell on that subject too much.] Brigade, for those of you who aren't senior members, you will be receiving instructions on the proper way to submit your wishes within the next few days, and as such, failure to attend meetings will result in a harsh penalty!

[...And then a sigh before he runs a hand though his hair. He ought to say more, right? But in the light of the current climate which seems to be going on... Well, whatever. Might as well take up another track-]

Oiii! Did anyone plan to take up the mantle of the Seventh Heaven? It's just wrong for a population this big to not have a diner! [...Ignoring the existence of Azzip, that is.]

Also, Leon, status report! I expect you to have made some serious progress by now! And whoever that was who wanted to turn the springs into a bath house, I wanna hear from you too!

[Voice/Action]

[Now with Naoki back and other things out of the way, Haruki has decided to take this time on this fine evening to, well, stargaze. He does this a lot, to be honest, but usually only when he's in a mood. Maybe he's in a mood tonight. The stars look so different here and he can't help but think of C'Thun. ...C'Thun makes him think of something else though. He sighs and flips open the book next to him:]

...Oh right. Brigade, anyone else that knew her, Nagato's gone. I think. Mammon, can you confirm that?

[But after he does that he's no longer content to look at it like this. He thinks they have a telescope somewhere in the house, but it's not... a particularly good one. Maybe there's a better one in the shop? Sure it's like 10+ PM, but whatever.

He climbs of his roof and starts to head into town to get him a telescope. Will anyone run into him on the way there or at the shop itself? Or perhaps on his roof when he gets back]

[-And because I forgot to any new members of the SOS-Brigade please feel free to use this thing as a guideline for how things go down in the Brigade. In fact I kinda suggest you do.]

[This post is done on the fly, clearly, as he's setting out to do something else. Accompanied with his voice is the sounds of him putting on boots and throwing some stuff into a backpack]

Oi! SOS-Brigade, assuming you didn't hear them or missed their introductions at the meetings, as a result of our superior efforts of recruitment we have taken in three new members: Garnet - that little girl, Dizzy - that absent-minded looking girl, and of course Hinata - that new moe girl. [Who he has yet to torment, him. After he says Hinata's name he considers and-] Al, she might force you our of a job, actually.

[FOR THE RECORD: If your character wanted in but didn't talk to him, they aren't considered on the roster even if they have been walking in on meetings or whatever. If you want to arrange them having talked with him or talking to him now or something, that's fine. If they have been sitting in without talking to him alone that's fine too, just give me a heads-up here or in a PM or something please.]

That said, he next thing we should do is promote Miu's status; few people even know she's an idol. What kinda crap manager does she have, anyway?

[Well, whatever. Okay, got this on, and this. There's a dark mutter of something like "No one gave you permission to leave, Naoki" but he rolls with it]

Shiki, Neku, Rena, Chikane - I won't be back for dinner probably, so fend for yourselves and/or make Chikane or Rena do it. They can handle it.

[...Oh right-] Oh, right. Adell, Luka, I'm going to be meeting the two of you somewhere tonight. Ping in to figure out where.

[There's then some dark mutter which wounds suspiciously like "she better be up" because I mean, come on he waited until noon. He stuffs his journal in the bag after that and heads off to Winry's house first. It's time for Winry Day]
