[Well, as some of you might recall, Haruki Suzumiya has been MIA for the better part of this whole affair so far. But now, finally, he's made a full recovery. A full recovery and... he's gone back to his house to confirm that things have recovered. He's inspecting it inside and out so you might happen across him during that, particularly if you're Neku or Shiki.

But aside from that, after he's half-way through this inspection he flips open the journal and-]

Oi, guys, I'm back. [...It's useless to say "did he miss anything" right? Just glancing at the entries while he was out shows he did] So everyone report in.

[July 31st. Haruki Suzumiya turns eighteen today. Originally, he hadn't planned to do anything - after all, only a handful of people know: Shiki, probably Neku by extension, Usagi, Leon, probably Al, maybe Uriko if she remembers, some others. Oh and he told Winry. Point is he originally decided he wasn't going to make a big deal about it what with all that's been going on. Not to mention a full third of his Brigade gone.

But well, he could use a pick up. And other people probably need things to focus on, so today he rigged up something at Brigade HQ. As it's Saturday and the status of the Seventh Heaven isn't officially confirmed there's no meeting or lunch today, but outside the HQ is a sign that says-

"CHIEF OF THE SOS-BRIGADE'S EIGHTEENTH BIRTHDAY. COME IN FOR GIFT DEPOSIT AND WELL-WISHING"

And inside they'll find Haruki sitting in his chair with Sekai on the table next to him and him with his headband tied in the gayest way ever.

Of course this might not be the only way to do this so later in the day, once he's confident the fighting for the day will have ended-]

How're you guys doing out there? Usagi, Leon, Uriko, Vash, all you guys.

[It's been more than long enough. Haruki, without so much a sigh and trying to keep his voice flat as possible takes up the mantle of saying something he hoped he wouldn't have to say ever during his time here. Namely:]

Usagi, you've got a promotion. You're Vice-Chief now. [READ: Rena is no longer here. He's trying to keep the anger and hurt out of his voice... he's doing an okay job] Taichi, you're Deputy Vice-Chief now.

[And then he trails off before, well, he should clear up two more things, right? Well then, let's get the first one out of the way]

Keiichi, Naoki, Alphonse, Vash, [...He can't go with Mikage so-] Uriko. All of you guys report in, I've got special objectives for you. Leon, I figured out where to put the teleporter.

[But all that is specific to the SOS-Brigade, he's got something more public in mind, even if none of that was filtered. But before that...]

Oiii! Did anyone plan to take up the mantle of the Seventh Heaven? It's just wrong for a population this big to not have a diner! [...Ignoring the existence of Azzip, that is.]

Also, Leon, status report! I expect you to have made some serious progress by now! And whoever that was who wanted to turn the springs into a bath house, I wanna hear from you too!

[This post is done on the fly, clearly, as he's setting out to do something else. Accompanied with his voice is the sounds of him putting on boots and throwing some stuff into a backpack]

Oi! SOS-Brigade, assuming you didn't hear them or missed their introductions at the meetings, as a result of our superior efforts of recruitment we have taken in three new members: Garnet - that little girl, Dizzy - that absent-minded looking girl, and of course Hinata - that new moe girl. [Who he has yet to torment, him. After he says Hinata's name he considers and-] Al, she might force you our of a job, actually.

[FOR THE RECORD: If your character wanted in but didn't talk to him, they aren't considered on the roster even if they have been walking in on meetings or whatever. If you want to arrange them having talked with him or talking to him now or something, that's fine. If they have been sitting in without talking to him alone that's fine too, just give me a heads-up here or in a PM or something please.]

That said, he next thing we should do is promote Miu's status; few people even know she's an idol. What kinda crap manager does she have, anyway?

Shiki, Neku, Rena, Chikane - I won't be back for dinner probably, so fend for yourselves and/or make Chikane or Rena do it. They can handle it.

[...Oh right-] Oh, right. Adell, Luka, I'm going to be meeting the two of you somewhere tonight. Ping in to figure out where.

[There's then some dark mutter which wounds suspiciously like "she better be up" because I mean, come on he waited until noon. He stuffs his journal in the bag after that and heads off to Winry's house first. It's time for Winry Day]

Whats with these idiots and causing something like this; it's not even a mystery, jeez. Oi! Oi! Luceti!

Many of your are Japanese, and furthermore some of you have addressed a desire for a Hanami - a flower viewing - as per the staple of Japanese culture. Many more of you are friends with Japanese. Some of you are just plain bored. Well we, the SOS-Brigade, stand forth now to tell you that your boring days will be getting a reprieve into something worthwhile; something interesting!

But how is a Hanami possible, you might ask. After all, there are no Sakura trees in Luceti. However! That too is a falsehood, because due to an alliance with the great sun goddess Amaterasu, the SOS-Brigade has managed to procure a private Sakura grove [Okay so it's just five trees on a hill but he doesn't need to tell anyone that] for use in this endeavor. On top of that, we will be providing sake, dumplings, potato chips, and music for this event! There will even be a [big trampoline] jump land for those who desire to use it!

This Saturday, north of the village past the end of the path, there will be a flower viewing hosting by the SOS-Brigade! All others are free and encouraged to attend this event! Recall well that this honor is given to your freely by me, Haruki Suzumiya, divine overlord of the SOS-Brigade and personal ally of Amaterasu.

[For the record, what he's doing a somewhat continuation of what is started here and he is referencing Ammy's tree. Ammy's tree (which is now four smaller trees going up to one large tree on a hill) is a semi-well-known landmark by now but because it's not on the map yet with approval from Kukki I've made a quickie map for it here]
