[In the likely empty (what with having no manager left to it) Seventh Heaven on this fine day is a boy that many people know and have many varied opinions of. He seems to be in tip-top shape, no injuries or anything, right? His face is distant, however. He looks around the place and then down at the book on the table. He opens it briefly, but then sighs, angered, closes it, and drops it on the floor. He stands, considering leaving there... but then shakes his head again

He also wipes his eyes. He totally just had something in them, not anything else.

Eventually, the boy settles for just sitting down at one of the random tables. not sure he wants to face what he knows must be unchanged, despite his wishes and efforts to the contrary. Not sure he wants to see everyone again because, well... well whatever.

Naturally, this means people can see him or ought to see him. He does settle at a table near one of the front windows after all]

[Chikane vanished. She's only rarely home, but it was enough for Haruki to notice when he went into the former Brigade room in the upper floor and found it as it was before she moved in. He sighed a little to himself, but a significant part of him was... relieved, honestly. He would miss her, but to be free of the guilt and complications? It was welcome, liberating, almost. What's more frustrating is that this means that Seventh Heaven is understaffed... again. Whatever, that's Tifa's problem, right? And even if it isn't he'll help her work things out.

But now that it's later in the day (which unfortunately is raining) Haruki decided that he needs to do more than his daily jog which got delayed by the rain. Thus, he does something he only rarely has done before; he goes to that damned barracks at the southern part of town.

Once inside, he puts aside his umbrella and takes off his coat... and then his shirt. and then he goes to town on some dummies practicing something that only a handful of people are probably aware of his skill with. Namely, martial arts.

Haruki was always skilled at anything he tried and always extremely in shape and all that, but after losing a fight to Senel in his first few weeks in Luceti he decided to train himself. For a while there as Aya, who taught him a lot of good moves and a lot of important basics during the time he was here. After that he learned by watching Uriko and others. And then supplementing with that he already knew of judo, boxing, and wrestling.

Thus, the style that he's using on the dummies isn't anything really masterful but it very certainly is creative. More than that, it's impressive. Kicks, chops, punches, and now and again some throws and other such things. But perhaps more interesting than that his him trying to work with the Fire Spirit, with whom he has a pact. Some of his chops turn into palm presses turn into super-heating the dummies and now and again his punches will become surrounded with flames. A few times he puts little bursts of fire out of his hands or finger-tips. Through all this, he is muttering to himself, perhaps speaking to the spirits

Feel free to run into him during this time, he'll be at it for a while]

[This week sucks. Mikey vanishes, Naoki goes off to pretend to be a hermit after getting beat up by a demon thing, there is more talk about war, Usagi vanishes, and he happened to FUCK AN OJOU have relations with a very attractive girl who is still technically his made because he's been trying to actively avoid her since March first. Originally he tried to dive into the Brigade, but now he can barely even find the drive for that. Other Brigade members might have noted him to be almost completely distracted at the meetings; same for schoolmates.

And right now, well, he had started to walk to Good Spirits to chat up Guy... but then decided he didn't want to talk to anyone, so he changed his route. He diverged at about the bridge and in his jacket and all he settled up against a tree a ways off the road looking generally just plan frustrated and such. (So here-ish) ...Naturally, he's sulking. He's sulking so hard.

Anyone is free to run into the kid of course, but note that he's liable to just bite back at people]

Brigade! You all got the scripts, right? You better have them memorized by the end of this week! No excuses 'cept for Bunny. Right.

[And he doesn't call for a meeting. The first sign that something is really stupidly off]

Oi, did everyone get Rohan's manga? It's got way too many flashbacks but it's not bad, given that it's based on a true story. Those types of plots always suck.

[Private // 50% Unhackable to the Brigade // Unhackable to other people]

...Dammit. This is stupid. This is stupid. This is stupid
