[Naturally a bit forward-dating /kicks off event

Hi Luceti? You know how it's morning right now? Maybe like... five in the morning, tops, right now? Well, unfortunately, you sleep is going to be rudely interrupted by a loud and surprisingly deep CAAAAAAWWW coming from House 10. It echoes across a pretty wide area of the village, given it's size. Albeit probably mostly for people on the North end.

One such person awakened by this cry is Haruki Suzumiya, who immediately goes upstairs to find his beloved pet, Sekai (who is now a full-grown rooster and due to his breed the size of a small turkey after being alive a whole year) and then lead him outside. Because he's half-sleep, he doesn't realize what he's wearing... at first. But then, when he walks out the door he is wearing nothing so much as (badly made) stereotypical God costume (think this) complete with a fake beard.

It's also at this point that he notices that the town looks a little different than before. Looking down at Sekai, he sighs, goes back in and gets his journal, ahd flips it open before settling on the porch with his chicken.]

[Voice]

The Organization strikes for Halloween... again. [And following this, he starts to hum the first song that comes to mind; namely "This is Halloween"]

[the beard is actually pulled off his face. It's a cheap one attached behind his ears by little strings. Aaah]

It itches. [Oh so flatly]

I can only imagine. It's not so bad though.

[He just puts the beard in his lap. It'll pop back on his face soon enough anyway. He rolls his neck a little and-]

Sorry to hear that? [He's not good with this whole sympathy thing. Particularly when he doesn't know the story]

Sokka told me it belonged to a princess who turned into the moon.

Yeah? [That's a sulky, but distant tone. It's not his business, anyway. He sighs and decides to give her an opening to let it go if she wants] Well, whatever.

...Anyway, you must be cold.

Will you be staying in until it passes?

Of course not! I'm not invalid just because I'm under-dressed! Like any real man I can handle this much! [A sage nod too. ...But that was a good scoot. He nods and adjusts himself a little so that the lean works better]

If that happens, I can see you as my nurse. [...He almost can't believe he had the balls to say that]

W-well I'm sure no body else would be willing to put up with you, so yeah. I can see that.

[Whoa, really?]

Then it's a deal, assuming I get sick.

I won't get in costume or anything though. I've had enough.

...Right, right. Fair enough.

[He'll let that slide. This time]

You'd do the same for me, right?

[Seeing that hand searching - and feeling it bump his side a little - he reaches out his own with a glance to take her's. There, silly woman. But now he question... that's another matter. He pauses only a moment before nodding]

'Course I would. [A pause] But I'd dress up.

Why?

Because that's the way things short be! Why do you think doctors wear coats or nurses have uniforms or other people wear scrubs? The uniformity and collage of outfits on medical people assists in the healing process! [No really, he believes this. Or it sounds like he does]

Naturally. [He even nods sagely at this. It's helped by the fact that about when he does that, the beard pops back onto his face. He feels it after it does and then shakes his head]
