[Naturally a bit forward-dating /kicks off event

Hi Luceti? You know how it's morning right now? Maybe like... five in the morning, tops, right now? Well, unfortunately, you sleep is going to be rudely interrupted by a loud and surprisingly deep CAAAAAAWWW coming from House 10. It echoes across a pretty wide area of the village, given it's size. Albeit probably mostly for people on the North end.

One such person awakened by this cry is Haruki Suzumiya, who immediately goes upstairs to find his beloved pet, Sekai (who is now a full-grown rooster and due to his breed the size of a small turkey after being alive a whole year) and then lead him outside. Because he's half-sleep, he doesn't realize what he's wearing... at first. But then, when he walks out the door he is wearing nothing so much as (badly made) stereotypical God costume (think this) complete with a fake beard.

It's also at this point that he notices that the town looks a little different than before. Looking down at Sekai, he sighs, goes back in and gets his journal, ahd flips it open before settling on the porch with his chicken.]

[Voice]

The Organization strikes for Halloween... again. [And following this, he starts to hum the first song that comes to mind; namely "This is Halloween"]

That's a stupid rea- [Wait.... Wait, that story. He cuts off mid-sentence and grunts]

I dunno, maybe you'll surprise me?

Yeah, maybe. ...If you get sick.

Maybe! Probably not, I have a pretty good immune system.

Same here, so I probably won't get to see Nurse Rockbell or anything.

-Wait, what happens if we're both sick at the same time?

[The obvious answer was Usagi. But he hangs his head the moment he thinks that, his face putting on a conflicted expression. After a distinct pause, he throws out a throw-away answer]

We can make Al or Mikage do it.

Did you see anybody in a costume you like or recognize?

[...HM] Buffy's suited her pretty well, I guess.

Buffy's? What'd she have? Would I know it?

Probably not; it's from a TV program back home, even I barely watched it. [He waves a hand dismissively at this]

...Oh. Huh. I wonder if I'll see anybody looking like people from movies I know.

I doubt it; the Organization's got a weird fixation on Earth, really. [He shrugs at this]

I see.

...But! You might get to see some other things! Folk stories or people in cool outfits besides ones you recognize!

...Suki did have some pretty nice body paint on her.

Body paint? [He whistles at that] I missed out.

It was blue with white dots. Kind of weird and pretty at the same time.

How much of her body? What designs? How was it formatted? Did it look like anything in particular?!

And who's Suki, again?

Um just blue, with white dots! I mean there might have been dark blue stripes but I was trying not to look too muc-

She's Sokka's girlfriend.

...What- oh! Oh, yeah. I think he's mentioned her once or twice. Huh...

Oh? Only twice?

It's not like you mention me to everyone you meet, right? [This might have come out more defensively than intended]

No. I guess it's just me then.

What? He's one to blab about her all the time or something? [He shrugs here, adjusting his position on the bench]
