[Naturally a bit forward-dating /kicks off event

Hi Luceti? You know how it's morning right now? Maybe like... five in the morning, tops, right now? Well, unfortunately, you sleep is going to be rudely interrupted by a loud and surprisingly deep CAAAAAAWWW coming from House 10. It echoes across a pretty wide area of the village, given it's size. Albeit probably mostly for people on the North end.

One such person awakened by this cry is Haruki Suzumiya, who immediately goes upstairs to find his beloved pet, Sekai (who is now a full-grown rooster and due to his breed the size of a small turkey after being alive a whole year) and then lead him outside. Because he's half-sleep, he doesn't realize what he's wearing... at first. But then, when he walks out the door he is wearing nothing so much as (badly made) stereotypical God costume (think this) complete with a fake beard.

It's also at this point that he notices that the town looks a little different than before. Looking down at Sekai, he sighs, goes back in and gets his journal, ahd flips it open before settling on the porch with his chicken.]

[Voice]

The Organization strikes for Halloween... again. [And following this, he starts to hum the first song that comes to mind; namely "This is Halloween"]

Come to think of it... [Wait, his boots!] If you got the same boots as him, can you check something for me?

... I don't think they're the same boots. [By virtue of the fact they fit Sokka. Just like all the other clothes. The real Edward's clothes were made for... someone smaller.]

[Admittedly, he was a tad bit disappointed to find out he had a regular arm. A metal one would be so cool...]

Very awesome! Especially if I could morph it into different stuff like he does, but I think that was magic.

Alchemy, actually. It's a science.

No, they just use the term alchemy. It's a type of magic that happens to use a knowledge of science. That doesn't make alchemy itself a science. It's like bending. It's a type of magic that happens to use skill in martial arts. The knowledge of science and martial arts are real in both cases, but the source of manipulating the elements, in both cases, are magic.

Being as how it requires them to know organic and inorganic chemistry as well as make precise manipulations of various circles and what have you [He's going more of Al than Ed here; Al needs to draw the damn things] I'd but alchemy as closer to science than bending.

You're missing the point. I wasn't saying bending was science. But science is to alchemy what martial arts is to bending. Both require training in something, but both are ultimately magic.
