Hundred Eleventh Explosion

[Action]

[Naturally a bit forward-dating /kicks off event

Hi Luceti? You know how it's morning right now? Maybe like... five in the morning, tops, right now? Well, unfortunately, you sleep is going to be rudely interrupted by a loud and surprisingly deep CAAAAAAWWW coming from House 10. It echoes across a pretty wide area of the village, given it's size. Albeit probably mostly for people on the North end.

One such person awakened by this cry is Haruki Suzumiya, who immediately goes upstairs to find his beloved pet, Sekai (who is now a full-grown rooster and due to his breed the size of a small turkey after being alive a whole year) and then lead him outside. Because he's half-sleep, he doesn't realize what he's wearing... at first. But then, when he walks out the door he is wearing nothing so much as (badly made) stereotypical God costume (think this) complete with a fake beard.

It's also at this point that he notices that the town looks a little different than before. Looking down at Sekai, he sighs, goes back in and gets his journal, ahd flips it open before settling on the porch with his chicken.]

[Voice]

The Organization strikes for Halloween... again. [And following this, he starts to hum the first song that comes to mind; namely "This is Halloween"]

You're missing the point. I wasn't saying bending was science. But science is to alchemy what martial arts is to bending. Both require training in something, but both are ultimately magic.

What if you considered magic to be a science? Bet there's a handful of worlds where that's the case.
markofthewise: (Yeah whatever)

[personal profile] markofthewise 2010-10-24 07:40 pm (UTC)(link)
There's probably a world where they think the sun is a small bright object that revolves around the planet. Or that the world is flat. That doesn't make them right.

[identity profile] god-is-a-dude.livejournal.com 2010-10-24 07:43 pm (UTC)(link)
Unless there is a world where those things are right.
markofthewise: (Really?)

[personal profile] markofthewise 2010-10-24 07:44 pm (UTC)(link)
I think a world that ridiculous would merely be an exception to the rule. I haven't met anyone whose worlds don't have more or less the same kind of cosmology.

[identity profile] god-is-a-dude.livejournal.com 2010-10-24 07:50 pm (UTC)(link)
Y'know, that's true, I'm not sure I have either.
markofthewise: (Need some advice)

[personal profile] markofthewise 2010-10-24 07:57 pm (UTC)(link)
Not only that, most people from most worlds look more or less the same. You've got some with little differences, like pointy ears and stuff, but more or less the same.

[identity profile] god-is-a-dude.livejournal.com 2010-10-24 10:52 pm (UTC)(link)
Well, superficially, yeah. I wonder if all their organs are the same or not.
markofthewise: (nomnomnom)

[personal profile] markofthewise 2010-10-25 04:13 am (UTC)(link)
Well I don't plan to go dissecting anyone.

[identity profile] god-is-a-dude.livejournal.com 2010-10-26 06:09 am (UTC)(link)
...Neither do I, of course!
markofthewise: (Riiiiight....)

[personal profile] markofthewise 2010-10-26 04:08 pm (UTC)(link)
Are you sure? I'm sure one of your 'minions' would gladly volunteer.
markofthewise: (Satisfaction)

[personal profile] markofthewise 2010-10-27 02:42 am (UTC)(link)
Ah! So there are things you won't do!
markofthewise: (Let's not get ahead of ourselves...)

[personal profile] markofthewise 2010-10-27 04:07 am (UTC)(link)
I don't know. A doctor, I guess?

[identity profile] god-is-a-dude.livejournal.com 2010-10-27 04:09 am (UTC)(link)
Try a mad doctor. I mean, if someone was already dead or something, maybe, but a living donor?! Even if it was an immortal that would be weird.
markofthewise: (Riiiiight....)

[personal profile] markofthewise 2010-10-27 04:10 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah. [Why are they still discussing this?] I don't think we have anyone here like that.

[identity profile] god-is-a-dude.livejournal.com 2010-10-27 04:17 am (UTC)(link)
Well, we did once. That Medic guy who got thrown down in the tunnels.
markofthewise: (Maybe this wasn't such a good idea)

[personal profile] markofthewise 2010-10-27 05:13 pm (UTC)(link)
... oh yeah, I heard about him. [A pause.] I was making a saw for him. He must have been sent home. I still have it lying around the smithy.

[identity profile] god-is-a-dude.livejournal.com 2010-10-27 05:21 pm (UTC)(link)
A saw? If you heard about him why would you make him a saw?
markofthewise: (Yeah whatever)

[personal profile] markofthewise 2010-10-27 05:23 pm (UTC)(link)
Hey, I didn't know who he was when Edward handed it off to me.

[identity profile] god-is-a-dude.livejournal.com 2010-10-28 06:04 am (UTC)(link)
By Edward I assume you mean the huge one, not the short one.
markofthewise: (Yeah whatever)

[personal profile] markofthewise 2010-10-28 06:09 am (UTC)(link)
If I'd meant him, I would have said the Other Ed. [Big Ed is the default Edward, man.]

[identity profile] god-is-a-dude.livejournal.com 2010-10-28 06:22 am (UTC)(link)
Oh, got it. [Somehow that makes him feel better]
markofthewise: (Chin scratcher)

[personal profile] markofthewise 2010-10-28 06:25 am (UTC)(link)
I should probably do something with that saw.
