[Well, as some of you might recall, Haruki Suzumiya has been MIA for the better part of this whole affair so far. But now, finally, he's made a full recovery. A full recovery and... he's gone back to his house to confirm that things have recovered. He's inspecting it inside and out so you might happen across him during that, particularly if you're Neku or Shiki.

But aside from that, after he's half-way through this inspection he flips open the journal and-]

Oi, guys, I'm back. [...It's useless to say "did he miss anything" right? Just glancing at the entries while he was out shows he did] So everyone report in.

[Oh hey there! Neku is also returning to the house to inspect the place since it appears everything is returning to normal.]

Because I was confused and looking for answers, but if you're going to be a brat about it I won't bother.

[Haruki looks dully at the board. Really, in light of that bombshell he didn't think about... well. He moves his own pawn in the same row up two as well.]

...Well. I left off with her vanishing from here, right?

[...He closes his eyes at that. He knows objectively that he needs to say something brilliant here - he needs to be the big man because, well, he is. He's much older. What can he say though? What can he say which doesn't sound stupid. He taps his finger on the journal three times before coming up with something suitable]

...Yeah. The Sokka I know is my rival, and he's a suitable one. This one here now is a sack of shit.

[...But that's not helpful, is it? Damn. He sighs again, trying to come up with someone to say]

But...! I'm sure your brother will be back! Positive, even!

That's not the end, is it?

[He's still confused about that himself, he never even got closure] In the midst of that though, there was also Rena... Well. I dunno if you ever met her; she used to live here, used to be my vice-chief... I think I might have liked her. ...Maybe. But she's gone too.

I... guess. I stopped thinking about it after a while. I mean, other things happened too- Uriko asked me out, sorta. I rejected her. And then there was that thing with Usagi... well I guess I always kinda liked her. But I doubt it was romantic ever. But well...

[Hie voice dropped down to utter shame at that point. Down to a whisper]

[Keiichi is sounding a bit... Older... And in fact he LOOKS older. But it's still Keiichi, that much is obvious despite the age difference.]

[Yeah. He... hangs his head blushing furiously and perhaps looking more ashamed than Winry's probably ever seen him. He looks like, given the chance he would make a truly sincere apology and even then still worry. That sort of sorry]
