[Referring to Mikage and Naoki] That is to say, the famed SOS-Brigade! Many of you have been now seen the flier that my secretary produced, and as such there is no obligation to give us any introduction even for the ignorant, but in favor of those who might not be able to read, I shall generously provide one anyway-

We, the Spreading Excitement All Over the World with Haruki Suzumiya Brigade come to you with a simple but eloquent purpose! Namely, the SOS-Brigade is looking into the mysteries of this world! People who have experienced something mysterious in the past, have experienced something mysterious recently, or who plan on a mysterious experience in the near future should come to the SOS Brigade for them be solved! This offer stands open to any of you! It is impossible to miss out HQ in the square of town, so step forward there if you have such a mystery for us to look into! After all, such a think is necessary in order to ensure that people live a worthwhile life.

Besides this, after seeing out operations I'm sure that many of you are eager to join up, right?! Well, those of you are are, please step forward now! This includes any that saw the fliers, any who desire a greater point in existence, and you too Garnet! Speak up!

What's mysterious about them? They're just that; classics! They're in almost every film and TV show and video game out there!

You ever seen them in reality?! And while we're on that subject; what the hell do you call those goggles on your head?

Of course not! Everyone knows things like that don't exist! That's why they're in all the movies and stuff, and why everything's so inconsistent about them! And how the hell are my goggles even related? I call them eyewear! When you're cruising around on land or in the air, or going for a swim, they're useful for protecting your eyes!

More like they're symbolic of being a shounen lead! Let me guess, you're from some world where you go around fighting within super-powered monsters, right? And you're ten, maybe thirteen tops, and you somehow saved the world from some evil organization or individual that you should have stood no chance against.

Oh please. As if Pryce ever had a chance with me around. I had the entire situation under control from the start. There's no mystery to how we stopped that idiot. I had my friends there to back me up!

Oi oi oi! Only about 20% of those have any basis in fact. But consider well, you're pretty fanciful yourself from where I'm standing, shounen-boy, and bearing that in mind, I don't see how aliens are any less likely than you. In fact, I've met a fair few here.

If you've met them, why are they still a mystery to you? Shouldn't you just be able to ask them all about their alienness?

Maybe they exist, maybe they don't. In my world, they say some of the creatures came from space, and there's even one that's capable of controlling time!

Roses are always covered in thorns, idiot. That's why they're a favored flower, because you need to dig past that. Besides, Paru's less of a rose and more of a venus fly trap, which I guess has a beauty onto itself.
