Many of you have been now seen the flier that my secretary produced, and as such there is no obligation to give us any introduction even for the ignorant, but in favor of those who might not be able to read, I shall generously provide one anyway-

We, the Spreading Excitement All Over the World with Haruki Suzumiya Brigade come to you with a simple but eloquent purpose! Namely, the SOS-Brigade is looking into the mysteries of this world! People who have experienced something mysterious in the past, have experienced something mysterious recently, or who plan on a mysterious experience in the near future should come to the SOS Brigade for them be solved! This offer stands open to any of you! It is impossible to miss out HQ in the square of town, so step forward there if you have such a mystery for us to look into! After all, such a think is necessary in order to ensure that people live a worthwhile life.

Besides this, after seeing out operations I'm sure that many of you are eager to join up, right?! Well, those of you are are, please step forward now! This includes any that saw the fliers, any who desire a greater point in existence, and you too Garnet! Speak up!

[SIDEBAR: If you character is expressing interest in joining the Brigade I have given certain characters free reign to come in and "question" them about their goals in relation to the Brigade and such, so there might be some threadjack by those ones. [HMM. He considers this for a moment and then he nods. Yeah, actually-] Your report on the plant-people, if you please.

Oh! Oh, Yeah! I completely spaced on that! [there's the quiet sound of her rummaging, and the sound of papers being shuffled about]

Aha! All right, I spoke with one, and it was a girl. I asked her about the rain, and she basically said it wasn't any different to her than it is for us. Something about how all of us need to live on it and all that!

Only one? There has to be more here than that. [Because after all, if there's aliens and espers and magic-users and all that, there has to be a few plants, right?]

That's what I thought, too, but only one answered. Maybe I need to make another call out, but promise I won't boil them in soup or something.

They're probably in hiding, I guess. ...I wonder if they consider vegetarians to be their enemies?

Something else I should ask, but I don't really think so, either. I mean, unless we're eating plants that talk or are like them. I'll have to find her and ask, though.

Yeah, there's some species of plants - flowers, I guess - that bloom at night, during moonlight. I'd imagine a lunar flower is among them, right? 'Less you were right and it is from the moon.

It's something else I'll have to ask her. I hope she doesn't get too annoyed with all my questions.

How do you show class when asking questions? Don't you just ask them?

Of course not! There's a time and a place for asking questions! Just asking them will often result in the target becoming offended or disinterested!

I've never really had that problem before, maybe I'm just lucky when I ask questions.
