Many of you have been now seen the flier that my secretary produced, and as such there is no obligation to give us any introduction even for the ignorant, but in favor of those who might not be able to read, I shall generously provide one anyway-

We, the Spreading Excitement All Over the World with Haruki Suzumiya Brigade come to you with a simple but eloquent purpose! Namely, the SOS-Brigade is looking into the mysteries of this world! People who have experienced something mysterious in the past, have experienced something mysterious recently, or who plan on a mysterious experience in the near future should come to the SOS Brigade for them be solved! This offer stands open to any of you! It is impossible to miss out HQ in the square of town, so step forward there if you have such a mystery for us to look into! After all, such a think is necessary in order to ensure that people live a worthwhile life.

Besides this, after seeing out operations I'm sure that many of you are eager to join up, right?! Well, those of you are are, please step forward now! This includes any that saw the fliers, any who desire a greater point in existence, and you too Garnet! Speak up!

[SIDEBAR: If you character is expressing interest in joining the Brigade I have given certain characters free reign to come in and "question" them about their goals in relation to the Brigade and such, so there might be some threadjack by those ones. Vocaloids are androids built to sing for people. They're really intelligent and very life-like. They think and have emotions and have personalities too. They're not too much different from humans, really.

That's close other than the fact that there are key and important differences between them and humans which you're failing to make note of.

Vocaloids, unlike humans, are made with a specific goal in "life" in mind, an objective. What's more, their also design to be produced by someone.

Produced, huh? Just what does that mean for them? Is that like, someone to manage them, or what?

Co-existence. Someone to manage them, ensure that their songs are reaching people, and make sure that their pre-programmed talents aren't going to waste. [A pause comes after that though. Free Will, huh? That's interesting, notion-wise...] Of course, that's within the bounds of certain parameters according to Luka. Human rights violations and all that.

Almost like an agent. But more like a partner? And this is about Luka, huh?

Well, agent's a good term too. But it's a partnership in the sense that a Vocaloid needs this producer and the producer gets a benefit out of it beside that.

[And in a tone that's more of a statement than a question.]...She still hasn't found one, has she.

But considering everything you were talking about, I take it you know why I said no in the first place. And that they don't really have androids like her where I come from.

Yeah, yeah. [And now flatly:] I'm reviewing all the people who are worth it that she's asked. Your name might be at the top of the list, but I'm not sure you're worth accepting as a partner.

[There's a long pause before Adell finally replies.]

I'm looking carefully the top three viable candidates. The others are invalid, pirates, or brooms.

I see. ...But Luka really wants a Master, Producer, or partner that badly?

Yeah. Since you explained it the way you did, it makes more sense. And for what it's worth, I'll be willing to agree to it, if that's what she really wants. And if you come up with some sort of test, let me know what it is. She's my friend, I'll do what it takes!
