I know what some of you may be thinking: 'What is the SOS-Brigade? I mean I've of it being the most amazing thing ever, and I know this to be true, what what exactly is it? Who's a part of it other than that handsome and charismatic lead of theirs that I know about? How can I join?' Well today is your lucky day, because this is what the SOS-Brigade is all about! Read on!

Or SOS-Brigade for short.

The SOS-Brigade is looking for mysteries of the world. People who have experienced something mysterious in the past, have experienced something mysterious recently, or who plan on a mysterious experience in the near future should come to the SOS Brigade for them be solved.

That said, we only accept mysteries that are notable in nature, and reserve the right to reject your request at any time if it doesn't prove interesting enough. We also work to support the idea of there being excitement and fun even to be found in a world such as this, were jerkoff aliens seem to enjoy being annoying voyeurs. Additionally, we work with all our might to make depressing or boring people less of either.

We will make sure all of Luceti leads a fun and interesting life! An SOS on your boredom!

[as dully as he can possibly get] But it looks like you've got plenty of members. No need to make up stuff for me to do; I've still got some settling in to do.

I bet, but you haven't even seen the fact that we now have a headquarters building all our own. [AND HE IS SO SO PROUD OF THAT]

Yeah. It's been like eight months since you vanished. I've been here that whole time, obviously, working to make the SOS-Brigade what it is now. Usagi and Al have been here the whole time too.

How thrilling. You'll have to tell me all about it. [Well, at least Haruki wasn't alone. Some stability in members probably helped with the whole cycling-of-residents thing.]

[Yes, it did. Kinda like the lack of Kyonko or Ahiru was such a blow to him back then. Still, he's not going to get into that. He's going to grunt and-]

Oi, I still have a lot of your equipment from last time that I got you. It's in a box at my house if you want me to help you get it somewhere.

[He's giving your little journal picture a blank look.]

How much of it is still there?

Well, your room was kinda a mess [After he ripped it apart looking for you] but I've got most of the beakers, vials, chemistry stuff. Some of the mechanical things too. Lost a lot of your notes what with Shiki being stupid with how she cleaned the house though.

Might be buried, but I got it. Totally.

So my chemistry set and my tools. At least I won't have to scrounge around for any of that.

[He shakes his head at the latter comments.] Sounds like some things happened while I was gone, though. My notes probably don't have much worth anymore.

Yeah. I'll send Rena to look for that. She's good at finding things in piles anyway.

[A pause there before a snort:] Yeah, you missed a lot of stuff. The Organization is loosing steam. The last experiment was a body-switch.

Rena? [He pauses to glance back at what Haruki had written -- and he notices the edits.] You didn't need to do that, Haruki.

"The Organization"? [When he was last around, they sure weren't calling the Malnosso "the Organization."] Glad I missed that experiment.

Rena, your new vice-chief. She was a normal member of the Brigade back when you were around the first time, but the one here now is a different one from back then. No memory of that time. She's living with me, so she'll find it.

[A grunt, and then he nods sagely-] Yeah, the Organization. S'what John calls them, anyway, and "Malnosso" is a stupid name anyway.
