[SO HOUSEMATES (Neku and Shiki, basically) might have noticed there is a new addition to the house. Namely there is a large-ish TV with a DVD player and a speaker or two in the main room. There is also a large-ish collection of Disney DVDs there. This means-]

[...Hm. Something he's been wondering about lately comes to mind as soon as he finishes with that decidedly leading message which he may or may not get grief for being public. He drums his fingers before pressing with:]

...Y'know, without Rohan printing his manga here - or that paper from a long while back - there hasn't been much in the way of creativity from people in a written format. [He seems to recall someone else said something similar a few weeks ago. ...Oh well] Maybe the Brigade should hold some kinda contest for that... [...HMM.] Or I could- nah. Last time... [He gets a flashback to Senel punching him. This makes him shudder and then give up on that idea]

Yeah, he got into an accident when he was about a year an a half old.

Mm, I think it's a fair enough trade up for air travel.

Flying would be cool, and after borrowing that book on jet engines from Donatello I have to admit I was jealous, but after some thought I've concluded that I wouldn't give up automail in my world for it. So if I never get to fly, I think I'll be fine.

It's not like it's an alternative root or anything, right? No reason you guys couldn't develop at like a propeller plane.

I'm sure flight is probably just around the corner for us, but what I'm saying is I don't mind the delay. Or, even if it doesn't happen, I'll be okay with that.

Huh. Well, if you say so. [He sighs and leans back on the couch, his head looking up at the ceiling for a moment] I would.

And why is that?

Well, you know... [He sighs, staring at the ceiling some more after adjusting that he feels more comfortable with his wings] Someday people are going to live on the moon, right? It's inevitable; people have already landed on it, people are studying it... and for how many people are on it, Earth is just too small. So someday, for sure, people will be there. And when I think about that, I know it would be so cool. But that someday... will I see it? I dunno.

But I want to.

Rocks. Any aliens which might have been there went into hiding a long time ago, so no one's found them yet. [He sounds annoyed that this before he thinks of what might be of interest to her-] Oh! The gravity's lower there.

Uh, I think it was... an eighth of Earth's, more or less? So you're eight times lighter there.

Eight times? Wouldn't someone almost float at that point?

Yeah! That's the point, right?! All those astronauts could jump leaps and bounds. [Okay, sitting up more properly now]

Totally! That's why it would be awesome to live there, right?!

Rig- what about food?

Obviously you would have terraformed greenhouses where you could farm! Oh! And cattle too; that's a must! It would probably be a rural community and sure you'd need to wear a suit if you want outside the biodomes, but that is so wroth it.
